| For Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP):
Matriculation Pass and either ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certification in specified trades or completion of Act Apprenticeship, OR Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Automobile Engineering. For Technician-III: Matriculation or SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) qualification and Successful completion of an ITI program from recognized institutions affiliated with NCVT (National Council for Vocational Training) or SCVT (State Council for Vocational Training) in the relevant trade. For Junior Engineer (JE): To be eligible for Junior Engineer (JE) positions, candidates should possess one of the following qualifications: 1. A three-year diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Manufacturing/ Mechatronics/ Industrial/ Machining/ Instrumentation & Control/ Tools & Machining/ Tools & Die Making/ Automobile/ Production Engineering. OR 2. A combination of sub-streams within basic streams such as Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Manufacturing/ Mechatronics/ Industrial/ Machining/ Instrumentation & Control/ Tools & Machining/ Tools & Die Making/ Automobile/ Production Engineering or any related field from a recognized University or Institute. For Train Manager: You need to have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government of India. |

| Age Limit | The maximum age limit for the job is 42 years for UR (Unreserved), 45 years for OBC (Other Backward Classes), and 47 years for SC and ST as of 1 August 2023. |
