Eligibility Criteria for Junior Engineer Post under Indian Railway |

| Education Qualification | For Junior Engineer Posts, you need to have at least a Diploma/Degree in Engineering in the relevant discipline recognized by the Government of India.
For Junior Engineer(Information Technology) Posts, you need to have PGDCA/BSc (Computer Science)/BCA/B.Tech. (Information Technology)/B.Tech. (Computer Science)/DOEACC ‘B’ Level course of 3 years duration or equivalent recognized by the Government of India. For Depot Material Superintendent Posts, you need to have at least a Diploma/Degree in Engineering in the relevant discipline recognized by the Government of India. For Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant Posts, you need to have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Physics and Chemistry with a minimum of 45% marks in the relevant discipline recognized by the Government of India. |
| Age Limit | The minimum age limit for the job is 18-33 years as of 1st January 2024. |
| Selection Process | The selection process will be done depending on your CBT Test result. (see the notification given below) |
| Application Fees | Online Payment of Rs. 500/- & Rs.250/- for SC/ ST/ PWD Applicants. |
